New Range of DC Switch-Disconnectors for Photovoltaics

Compact DC switch-disconnectors: F1 Series

New range of DC modular switch-disconnectors with a wide variety of applications specifically designed for giving greater protection to photovoltaic installations and green energy projects, meeting precisely the needs and specifications of PV systems.

Modular and compact design

This photovoltaic load break switch is conceived under a modular concept. It reachs 32A in different connection schemes of 2P and 4P.

Its modular and compact design allows an easier installation and maintenance, according to the needs of solar panel installations and green energy projects looking for compact modular switch-disconnectors.

What is the function of a disconnect switch in solar installations?

A DC switch-disconnectors (or PV switch-disconnector) cuts off the direct current (DC) which comes from the solar panels to the inverter. It is a critical component for ensuring the safety, compliance, and maintainability of solar power systems.

Our new F1 series of DC modular switches also offers different connection schemes of 2P and 4P to meet the needs of each installation.

For photovoltaic systems, the most common connection is 4B with 1 string and 32A at 1200V. It is the most suitable scheme in terms of inputs and outputs, as they come from the bottom, the wiring for this equipment has a small cross section, especially for our enclosed solutions.
