New Catalogue of Solutions for Railway Applications

Telergon presents its new Railway Solutions Catalogue, bringing together its range of switching, control and safety solutions specifically designed for the railway sector.

The new catalogue reflects Telergon’s extensive experience in railway applications. It includes solutions for both rolling stock and fixed installations, from onboard systems to low-voltage switching applications for stations and signalling infrastructure.

With solutions for high-speed rail, metro, suburban, regional and long-distance trains, trams and locomotives, the catalogue provides a comprehensive overview of Telergon’s capabilities across different railway environments and applications.

Solutions designed for different railway applications

Railway systems require reliable switching and control solutions capable of operating in demanding environments, thereby contributing to the safety of both equipment and people.

The new catalogue brings together Telergon solutions for different areas of trains and railway infrastructure, including driver’s cabs, access systems, HVAC systems, traction and fixed installations.

The solutions included feature control switches and selectors, battery disconnectors, access switches, and earthing and safety systems. Covering different switching, isolation and control functions across railway applications.

The range combines a broad and versatile portfolio with in-house engineering, customised solutions, vertical integration, full traceability, and quality controls and testing carried out internally.

Safety during operation and maintenance

One of the key areas highlighted in the new catalogue is earthing and safety.

Telergon’s earthing systems are designed to protect personnel and equipment through coordinated safety sequences. The different components work together to enable the earthing system, isolate the auxiliary power supply, control access to compartments and manage the keys throughout the entire sequence.

These solutions include the CRWGB earthing switch, CRWGA pneumatic interlocking valve, CRWGC key multiplier and CRWGD door lock, together with Series B switches and T-175 battery disconnectors as part of the safety sequence.

More than 60 years of experience in railway solutions
